Battle of the three tablet-netbooks, video-comparison
There aren’t many tablet-netbooks available on the market right now, but at CeBIT a couple of new ones where showcased. That gave Sacha from netbooknews.de the chance to get three of them together for a short (actually not that short) video comparison you can find below.
The three devices we’re talking about are the:
- Lenovo S10-3T – N450/N470 processor, 8 Cell battery, multi-touch capacitive standard display (1024 x 600 px), standard keyboard, no accelerometer, prices start from 479 euro inE urope (around $500 in the US)
- Gigabyte T1000 – N450/N470 processor, multi-touch capacitive HD display (1366 x 768 px), chiclet keyboard, no accelerometer
- Viliv S10 – Z540/Z550 processor, very slim and compact, multi-touch HD display, standard keyboard, SSD storage, huge battery life (up to 10 hours), optional 3G, prices start from $699
Check out more info in the video below.
So a perfect touch netbook right now would be a mash-up between the form factor and battery life of the Viliv S10, the display of the Gigabyte, keyboard from the Lenovo and some missing features (like an accelerometer) neither of them has.
There’s also another competitive tablet netbook not present in this comparison, the EEE PC T101MT from Asus, which i Reviewed in here. And more to come for sure in the next months, so stay tuned.
And by the way, if you’re looking to see what are the best tablet netbook computers on the market these days, see the link. The post is updated frequently so it should be up to date with the latest releases.
