Best selling netbooks of the summer 2009 on the US market
Now that summer just passed, is time to take a look back and see what were the best selling netbooks in this summer of 2009. And the best way to do that is to take a look on Amazon’s top, as they are after all the biggest online retailer and have some of the best prices for netbooks and accessories.
So here how things stand:
- Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK Black- $372 : 10.1″ screen , glossy, N280 CPU, Wi-fi Draft N, Bluetooth, ergonomic keyboard, 10.5 hours battery life, 2.9 pounds
- Asus Eee PC 1005HA-VU1X-BK Black- $319 : 10.1″ screen , glossy, N270 CPU, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, 8.5 hours battery life, 2.9 pounds
- Acer Aspire One AOD150-1920 Ruby red – $299 : 10.1″ screen , glossy, N270 CPU, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, 6 hours battery life, 3 pounds
- Samsung NC10-14GB Blue – $329 : 10.2″ screen , glossy, N270 CPU, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, 8 hours battery life, 1.3 MPx webcam, 2.8 pounds
- Toshiba Mini NB205-N210 Black $345 : 10.1″ screen , matte, N280 CPU, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, ergonomic keyboard, 9 hours battery life, 2.9 pounds
They are all very good models, there’s nothing you can say about that. Some cheaper and some more expensive, some better equipped and some poorer. All have very good marks, above 4 out of 5 from their owners and since they are so popular, they are definitely good picks. Choosing the one you would get is just up to your needs, taste and of course, budget.
If you want to read my reviews on some of the above, here are the ones I tested: the Asus EEE 1005 HA , the Acer Aspire AOD105 and the Toshiba Mini 205 . Feel free to leave your feedback on this post, I’m really curios what do you guys think about the top and what do you think will happen and change in here during fall 2009.
