HP Mini 102 – new netbook for budget oriented geeks
Along all the other things announced by HP at CES 2010 is also the 10 inch Compaq Mini 102 device, a somewhat upgraded versions of the older Mini 110 .

Touchpad is rather odd
I said somewhat because changes are minor from the predecesor. In terms of hardware, this one uses the old Atom platform, with a N270 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard-drive and Windows 7 Starter or XP Home . Display, keyboard and touchpad were also kept from the older version, and while keyboard is decent, touchpad is at least odd, as click buttons aren’t placed below like it should, but on sides (check the picture for details).
However, even though the Mini 102 HP doesn’t really bring anything new on the table, it will be cheap, starting from $299. However, that price will probably get you the 3 Cell battery; you can also opt for a bigger 6 Cell 62 WAh one and i really advice you to go for the bigger one .

Cheap HP Mini 102 for budget oriented customers
If you’re interested in it, you’ll be able to order the Mini 102 in the next days from HP’s online store and later this month from the other big online stores in the US.
