HP too shows off a SnapDragon powered smartbook
With the buzz created around Lenovo’s amazing Skylight, i’m expecting other producers to jump smartbooks train fast.
One of the first is HP, as they showed off a smartbook of their own at CES. Still a prototype for now and not as impressive as Lenovo’s toy, but the first using an Android based OS, thus having access to a vast collection of applications and software.

Hardware inside uses the same Qualcomm platform with the 1 GHz SnapDragon processor, plus all the goodies, like top notch connectivity, nice battery life, compact body, etc. Check out the video bellow with a hands on from CES 2010 by the folks at JKmobile.
But, while the Skylight is announced to hit the market later this spring, HP’s smartbook is just a show off product for now, without a name and without any claimed intention to go into production. At least for now. Hopefully, we’ll find more about it soon.
