LG’s Xnote X130 Netbook promises 12 hours battery life
More and more netbooks are battling over autonomy. And while Asus offers around 10 hours for the 1005HA, LG announced a battery life up to 12 hours for their new Xnote X130 netbook.

LG Xnote X130 promises 12 hours battery life
Besides that, the LG X130 is a decent 10″ netbook with specs similar to those of most of the other devices in this class: Atom N270 CPU , 1 GB of RAM , 160 Gb HD, Bluetooth and Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n , etc . The OS in also the standard Windows XP. And like the other LG netbooks before, this one should be 3G compatible too.
On the outside, this Xnote X130 looks pretty good and comes with a glossy finish in different 3 colors: black, white and pink .
The battery provided for this netbook is huge, a 9-Cell one that should provide up to 12 hours of life, according to LG. That could translate in 9-10 hours in reality, and that’s still more than you’d usually need.
As for the price, LG is planning to sell the X130 for around $650 . It will be available in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Rumors say it won’t come to US, at least not from the beginning. Don’t know why, i guess that’s just LG’s weird sales policy or something…
