New CULV notebooks for Samsung: X420 and X520

New samsung X420 CULV notebook will be paper thin
Samsung plans to hit the ultra portable notebooks’ market with two new devices by the end of the year, a 14″ one called X420 and a bigger 15.4″ model called X520. However, both are very slim and light and will boost quite an autonomy. But, since they come with such big screens, they’ can’t be called netbooks anymore, according to the principles showed in the article where we explained what is a netbook.
We don’t now much about these two new Sammy gadgets, but we know they are scheduled to arrive in Europe first in late October and probably in the US by December. They will both come with the Intel SU2700 CULV processor at 1.3 Ghz and Intel GMA X4500M graphics card. However, the 14 inch X420 will come with 3GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard-drive , while the 15.4 inch X520 will bring 4GB pf RAM, a 320 GB hard-drive and a bigger battery. They will both almost surely bring Windows 7 as the standard OS option.
No rumor on prices yet, but according to the specs and looks, they will probably compete with devices like the Asus UX30 and will start from around 900-1000 bucks in the US (probably more in Europe).
