Pink netbooks to support breast cancer movement
I’m not sure if you’re aware that Monday, October 26th, will be this year known as Breast Cancer Day all around the globe. An initiative started by Pink Ribbon, meant to improve awareness on the dangers of breast cancer and how it can be prevented. And also help gather funds for precious research that would help fight this horrible disease.

Many producers of electronic devices will be probably enrolled in this movement too. And since we’re talking here about netbooks, there are already some offers on the market on pink netbooks that support the cause.
Sony for instance offers a special bundle on their Vaio W mini notebook, that contains the netbook, a pink mouse and a pink case. All for a price of $499 and aimed at all the women who want to help this fight. And also, Sonny announced they will donate $110,000 for research this year.
According to ChipChick.com , HP also prepared a pink version of their HP Mini 311 netbook for this movement.

It’s in fact a pack that looks just like in the picture on the right and will retail for $379, containing the laptop, a mouse and a specially made case. It is already available on bestbuy.com , if you want to check it out.
Other producers will probably launch pink netbooks also in the next days, so I’ll update this post with other models when they get announced. So you’d better bookmark it for later.
Also, if you too want to support breast cancer awareness campaign, you could get the pink bracelet with the message “Promise of a Cure“. It only costs $5.99 and is available on Amazon .
