The best sold netbook, Asus 1005HA, now with a price cut
A coleague from work asked me today what netbook would i recommend and i pointed him to the Asus 1005HA that used to cost $399 . I said used to, because he just told me this thing now has a 10% price cut and can be found for just $369 on Amazon .
Of course, for those of you not knowing what does the 1005HA bring, it’s a standard Asus EEE PC with a 10.1″ screen and 1024 x 600 px resolution, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 160 GB hardrive, 1 Gb of RAM and all the extra (Wi-fi, Webcam, etc).
This version is the one with the bigger battery that can give you an autonomy of up to 10 hours but is still compact enough and light enough weighting just 2.9 pounds . Oh, and for $369 you also get a protective sleeve and free shipping.

And i must mention this is the best sold netbook on many US stores, including Buy.com and Amazon, with lots of positive reviews and and an overall 4.6 out of 5 mark given by customers .

I too have one of this for two months now. Everything works just fine but the battery life ain’t that good as they say. It’s more like 8 hours on a regular day usage. Still, that’s more than enough for me and more than you’d get from any other netbook on the market.
Damn, i bought my 1005HA in the middle of July for around $425 at my local dealer in Burbank. Didn’t now i could find it that cheap online…
