The new 12″ MSI Wind U200 is coming to town
It seems that MSI just launched their new Wind netbook. It’s called MSI Wind U200 and it’s going to have some interesting specs.
First of all, it won’t have the Intel Atom platform inside anymore, but the new Celeron ULV SFF 723 processor (based on the CULV – consumer ultra-low voltage – platform). In IntelGMA 4500 graphics, 2 GB of RAM and 250 GB hard drive. As for connectivity, we know the new Wind will have Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) , but no word about Bluetooth or HSDPA yet.
Also, the U200 will come with a bigger screen (12″), better resolution (1366 x 768 pixels) and LED backlight technology.
Add a 3 cell baterry (the 6 cell one will be available later for sure ) with all these and you’ll get the new MSI Wind U200. For a price of around $700 (kind of expensive for a netbook, but still, i’m not sure we can call U200 a netbook anymore).
