Webook A600 – 10 inch netbook with internal DVD drive
When i wrote the post about the best external DVD units for netbooks, i’ve told you that there are no netbooks on the market with an internal DVD. Well, this is a bout to change, as there is now such a portable mini laptop that brings such a feature. It comes from China and bares the name of iMore Webook A600.
Besides that, this gadget is just an ordinary netbooks: 10.2″ screen, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard-drive, Intel GMA 945 Graphics, Wi-fi n, USB ports, webcam etc. But, it also brings the combo drive (so it’s not a DVD-RW, just DVD) . And all these while being 1.2 inches thick, somehow similar to most of the other 10 inch devices.

Still, the Webook A600 comes from China, so… it will probably have severe lacks in terms of build quality (judging from my experience with other Chinese products in the past). We won’t see it in the US, but still, if you’re looking for a netbook with an internal optic drive, this one is a pioneer. And probably there will be others to follow in the next months.
