What are the bestselling netbooks with Windows 7 right now?

With Windows 7 just launched a couple of days ago, I was expecting to see quite some changes in the best selling tops of such mini notebooks. But, it seems i was a little bit wrong, because according to Amazon’s bestsellers chart, most netbooks equipped with Windows 7 are still pretty far away from the top. Some might say it’s a little too soon too judge , but according to Amazon, the list is updated hourly.

So, in top 25, the only devices equipped with Windows 7 come on 6th and 7th, and are two different versions of the same Asus 1005HA, the black and the blue ones, running right now for around $380 each. For more details, i would suggest following these links for the black Asus or the blue one .

Next Windows 7 netbook comes on 31st spot, and it’s a Toshiba NB205 (the blue one – $419). Other devices, all equipped with the same Starter Edition version of Microsoft’s OS come on places around 40 to 50.

So, at the moment it still seems Windows XP netbooks dominate the market. Still, I’m pretty sure things will change in the next months, as I believe right now customers are somehow reluctant to adopt the new OS and wait for others to try it first. Anyway, wait for an update on the situation in the next weeks. Although I’m pretty sure the Asus devices will still be on the first positions, devices from Acer, Samsung or HP will surely climb towards the top.

Update: Some sites noticed the HP Mini on the 2nd position of the top, but, I for one am not really sure that one is equipped with Windows 7. Because as you can see in the specs (picture bellow), there are some misleading info in there. So, if anyone can confirm that the HP Mini 110-1050NR comes with Windows 7 Starter, please leave a reply below. (Based on previous bestselling tops from Amazon, I’m pretty amazed this HP jumped so much in the list, regarding the OS)
